I brought a rose a couple of days ago and it starts to fade already. Nevertheless, I thought the flower is in an interesting state worth drawing. Normally I draw flowers in their full blossom, but obviously not this time.

I posted this portait (underneath) some days ago. I decided to work further on it because it did not feel right. I liked the first version but it bugged me that the resemblance was not as good as it could be. Now when I look at the drawing (above) I see clearly the man who was meant to be it.

I brought some so called 'PITT artist pen' and I must say they are really nice to work with. I painted this Calla with them and combined them with a waterbrush.

A friend of mine asked me to paint her and that's what I did. I used my watercolor woodless graphite pencil. I love to paint with it. I believe everyone should have one!
